Commitment to Excellence
One in every 66 Canadian children are diagnosed with autism, a condition that impacts families everywhere - even our own. At Wicked Tours, we strive for autism acceptance and support local groups that help individuals and families living with autism, such as the Canucks Autism Network and the Pacific Autism Family Network.
As a company, we strongly value community involvement. That's why we have taken the time to donate to and support various organizations in the Okanagan area. Through our donations, we are helping to make a difference for the MS Society, Okanagan Boy & Girls Club, and YMCA of Okanagan—all of which mean something special for us here on our team.
At Wicked Tours, we recognize our responsibility to work toward a sustainable future and protect the environment. We continually strive to increase sustainability across all aspects of our operations, including through our guests, community, and team. Our efforts in this regard have been recognized by our Gold Certification from GreenStep Sustainable Tourism.
Wicked Tours has earned numerous awards and accolades over the years. These include the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in the Wine Tour Service category from Best of Kelowna, the TripAdvisor Traveler's Choice Award, and the Customer Service Award from the British Columbia Tourism Industry Association. We are so grateful for these recognitions which continue to motivate us to strive for excellence.
At Wicked Tours, safety is always our top priority. We are fully licensed by the Passenger Transportation Authority of British Columbia and take all necessary steps to ensure we meet and even surpass government safety regulations.
At our organisation, we take the training of Tour Guides very seriously. We select only the best candidates for our Tour Guide positions and provide them with extensive in-house training opportunities. Moreover, we actively support further educational pursuits for our tour guides, such as local industry events and wine certification classes.
