Unwind in Style with the Best Wine Tour in Kelowna – No Designated Driver Needed, Even if You're the Designated Planner

Ever wondered what a sip of East Kelowna's hidden gems feels like? Join our Kelowna Wine Tour, and we'll unveil the taste secrets that only the lucky few get to savour.

Embark on a sensory journey through East Kelowna. As you stroll through the boutique wineries, your eyes will feast on the lush vineyards, their leaves dancing in the gentle breeze, creating a scene straight out of a romantic painting. Guided by our knowledgeable wine enthusiast, you'll savour locally crafted wines' rich, velvety texture. Each sip is an explosion of flavours that dance on your taste buds. The crisp, refreshing cider notes will further invigorate your palate.

A mouthwatering lunch at local favourite Dunn Enzie's will offer a relaxed experience, with the scent of freshly baked pizza inviting you to indulge. The sun kissing your skin, the clink of glasses, the laughter of newfound friends; it's an unforgettable escapade in the heart of East Kelowna's wine country.

The first stop on this tour will take you to a winery renowned for producing some of the finest wines and cider in the region to indulge in their exquisite craft ciders and premium wines.

The View Winery & Vineyard is on a parcel of land in the family for five generations. Historically, fresh market apples were grown on the property. In the mid-1990s, a transition began, and vineyards and cider apples were planted. Spartans and McIntosh gave way to Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Ehrenfelser and Pinotage vines and cider apple varieties such as Belle de Boskoop, Chisel Jersey and Bulmers Norman.

In 2006, the family’s beloved old packinghouse, built in 1922, was transformed into a winery and cidery.

Today, The View Winery produces over ten thousand cases each year. Noted for their infamous 'red shoe' logo, their diverse portfolio of award-winning wines includes Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Ehrenfelser, and our signature reds: Pinotage and Pinot Noir. Their rosé has emerged as a favourite. In 2013 they introduced Canada’s first canned wine with their wildly popular BLING Sparkling Wine.

Next, we'll take you to Nagging Doubt, a boutique winery that produces limited quantities of exceptional wines. Here, you'll sample their award-winning wines and gain insights into their winemaking philosophy.

Armed with a degree in psychology from the University of Alberta, Rob spent many years touring Canada as the drummer in an acclaimed punk band before trading his drumsticks and Doc Martens for a master’s degree from Northwestern University. After graduate school, he joined the rat race.

But there was always something nagging at Rob - he longed to create something with his hands. On a long-term business assignment in San Francisco, Rob fell in love with wine. Something clicked, and he realized that this was meant to be.

Rob turned his efforts to studying the artistry and science of winegrowing and winemaking. Many years of simultaneously apprenticing with innovative Okanagan winemakers, earning his Viticulture and Enology certificates from Washington State University, planting the Nagging Doubt estate vineyard from scratch, and learning the business of wine on the job have helped Rob earn his place among the industry’s hardest-working talents.

DunnEnzie's Pizza Co., a local favourite, is our stop for lunch. DunnEnzies Pizza & Parlour features our huge backyard patio with the 185-year-old London Plane tree, a full menu with appetizers, tacos, salads, desserts, specialty cocktails, beer, wine, and, of course, great pizza!

Next up, we'll visit a winery known for its elegant wines and breathtaking vineyards for the final tasting. Priest Creek Family Estate Winery was founded through Darren and Jane’s wish to raise their children in a vineyard, returning them to their farming roots.

The estate was part of a parcel of land farmed by the Mission in the mid-1800s. Priest Creek runs behind the property and runs into Mission Creek, where it is said Father Pandosy planted the first grapes in the valley for wine!

Savour the flavours and aromas of their finest wines while taking in the stunning scenery of the Okanagan Valley.

Our final stop is a family-owned winery with a passion for wine, art and music. The Vibrant Vine Winery was instantly on the BC wine map after accidentally winning 'Best White Wine in the World' at the World Beverage Competition in Geneva, Switzerland (ask them about it, it's a great story!). The Vibrant Vine features live outdoor music, Phil Lewis' 3D Art, Jacko's Lounge, and award-winning wines, including Icewine and fruit-forward spicy reds.
