Priest Creek Winery
Priest Creek Winery

Priest Creek Family Estate Wineries desire to provide a collection of quality premium wines which can be shared today or cellared for the future. Priest Creek Family Estate Winery was founded through Darren and Jane’s wish to raise their children on a vineyard, bringing them back to their farming roots. They are located in South Kelowna in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, boasting beautiful mountain vistas from each direction.

“Priest Creek” was chosen to pay tribute to the heritage of the land. This Estate was part of a parcel of land farmed by the Mission in the mid-1800s. Priest Creek runs behind the property and into Mission Creek, where Father Pandosy planted the first grapes in the valley for wine.

Nagging Doubt Winery
Nagging Doubt Winery

Corporate life was exciting and challenging, and nonstop! But there was always something nagging at Rob–he longed to create something with his own hands. On a long-term business assignment in San Francisco, Rob fell in love with wine. Something clicked, and he realized that this was meant to be.

And so, life took another convoluted turn. Rob turned his efforts to studying the artistry and science of winegrowing and winemaking. Many years of simultaneously apprenticing with innovative Okanagan winemakers, earning his Viticulture and Enology certificates from Washington State University, planting the Nagging Doubt estate vineyard from scratch, and learning the business of wine on the job have helped Rob earn his place among the industry’s hardest-working talents.

The View Winery
The View Winery

The View Winery is situated on a parcel of land in the Turton/Ward family for 5 generations. Historically, fresh market apples were grown on the property. In the mid-1990s, a transition began, and vineyards and cider apples were planted. Spartans and McIntosh gave way to Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Ehrenfelser and Pinotage vines, and cider apple varieties such as Belle de Boskoop, Chisel Jersey and Bulmers Norman.

In 2006, the family’s beloved old packinghouse, built by Great-Granddad Ward in 1922, was transformed into a winery and cidery under the direction of his grandson Chris Turton and great-granddaughter Jennifer Turton-Molgat.

The View now produces over ten thousand cases each year. Their diverse portfolio of award-winning wines includes Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Ehrenfelser, and our signature reds: Pinotage and Pinot Noir.

We had a fun and very nice wine tour. It was in January so just the two of us but our guide was great and very knowledgeable and the wineries were ready for us. Got to try some very nice wines and see some unique facilities.

We had a fantastic tour with Danny! He was very helpful, knowledgeable and easy going, a great conversationalist. My favourite part of tour was the great learning experience at the wineries that explained their heritage, explained pairing and were passionate about sharing their knowledge. Experience was delivered as advertised and I would definitely book with wicked again.

Positive: Professionalism , Punctuality Booked a last minute wine tour while visiting Kelowna for my 30th birthday back in September. Myself and my boyfriend enjoyed ourselves immensely. We had Jackson as our guide. He was very welcoming , sweet and knowledgeable for such a young guy! He was professional and made the day seem less while keeping everything on time. Their van they use is clean and comfortable, they look after your every need and I felt comfortable. Everyone wore masks and was responsible during the pandemic. I had a great day and would highly recommended them!
