Description
Tour Okanagan Lake Country and explore some of the region's best wines. Taste world-class Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir and experience their crisp flavor, delicate earthy aroma, and superb quality. Immerse yourself in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere as you savor some of this area's finest wines.
Arrowleaf is a family-owned and operated winery founded in 2001 by the Zuppiger family. In 1986, Joe and Margrit Zuppiger and their five children immigrated to Canada from Switzerland (the Zurich area) where they had been operating an organic orchard and dairy farm. They continued dairy farming in Alberta, settling south of Edmonton. After 10 years in the dairy business, they moved to the Okanagan and purchased Suncrest Vineyard and, two years later, the Carter Farm, the current location of the winery. For the first five years, they grew grapes for Gray Monk Estate Winery to establish their own winery.
Inspired by Dennis O’Rourke’s pioneering spirit and passion for innovation, this state-of-the-art winery is waiting for you to explore. The estate-grown portfolio includes Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Rosé, Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner and Pinot Noir. You'll visit the 7-acre property, home of their Goldie Road Vineyard in Lake Country.
Isaac (their crazy farmer and co-founder) has been farming organically since birth. His parents came to Cawston, BC, with a dream and no farming experience. His father, Billy, knew that something needed to be done to connect the organic growers with the consumer, so he started Cawston Cold Storage. It is now Canada's most prominent organic fruit packing house, packing over 17 million pounds of organic fruit annually.
This is what makes their cider so unique. They use juice-grade apples that come out of C/A storage. Many juice apples aren't this high quality, and juicing from a fresh and crisp apple gives their cider a clean and fresh taste that doesn't need much added. Just simple, pure and organic.
Their production facility and tasting room are on their Certified Organic Farm, where they are committed to environmental sustainability and biodiversity. Not only do they use our organic apples, but they also incorporate our other organic fruit and fruit from other farmers in the area.
The team at Upside Cider is proud and excited to present Kelowna's first Organic Cider. They hope you enjoy both the flavour and the authenticity.
Intrigue Wines was established in 2008 when two families joined to explore their passion for wine. The strength of the partnership is in the complementary experiences each partner brings to the table. A winemaker, an accountant, an internet entrepreneur and a healthcare advisor - all pursuing their fascination and curiosity for wine.
The Garden Bistro at O'Rourke's Peak Cellars offers scenic seats on the vineyard-side patio with breathtaking views of surrounding orchards, rolling mountains and Okanagan Lake. An onsite ½ acre organic vegetable garden and two greenhouses, only a step away from the Bistro, give their culinary team the freshest veggies and herbs to incorporate into his daily menu, showcasing true local flavours, the ultimate farm-to-table experience all year round! The Garden Bistro menu complements the wines and explores seasonal flavours through the guests’ palate. These flavour combinations and ingredients pair beautifully with the unique taste of their aromatic white wines, 100% estate grown in Carrs Landing, Lake Country.

We booked the three-hour tour which took us to four wineries in the Lake Country - Grey Monk, Arrowleaf, Ex Nihilo and Intrigue. The wines were delicious, the prices were fair, and the wine country stunning. Gerry was our guide and he was attentive, knowledgeable and fun to talk to. A great introduction to this wine region!
