Discover the Best Wineries in Penticton – Leave the Logistics to Us

Experience an unforgettable journey as you embark on our Penticton Wineries Tour. This luxurious adventure takes you through the undiscovered Penticton winery gems and along the scenic shores of Lake Okanagan, leading you to the renowned Naramata Bench.

Prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking scenery as you indulge in award-winning wines and a delectable winery lunch. Our expert tour guide will ensure that your experience is extraordinary, providing valuable insights and knowledge about the region’s winemaking process.

The Naramata Bench is famous for its impressive portfolio of red wines, including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah. Each sip will transport you to a world of flavours as these exquisite wines thrive under the endless summer and sunshine.

We'll begin our journey at Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards, a beautiful winery against the stunning Lake Okanagan backdrop. Enjoy the breathtaking views while sipping their exquisite sparkling wines.

The Fitzpatrick family opened their first winery in 1986 - CedarCreek Estate Winery - and grew it into a two-time Canadian Winery of the Year. They learned more than a few things about making wine in the Okanagan along the way, but none more important than the need to pay close attention to what your land is telling you to do.

Before lunch, we'll stop at Haywire, a winery that has won numerous awards for its handcrafted wines. Enjoy a private tasting of their premium vintages and learn about their passion for sustainable viticulture and winemaking.

After 14 years under the umbrella of Okanagan Crush, Haywire Winery takes the stage with a bold, brand-new look. A modern tasting lounge has been constructed adjacent to the crush pad and cellar, offering views of Okanagan Lake and Switchback Organic Vineyard.

Concrete tanks are the perfect vessel for the style of wine they aim to make. The central Okanagan area is ideal for cool climate varieties such as Pinot Noir, Gamay, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. Haywire doesn’t rush the winemaking process, preferring low-intervention methods to create fruit-forward wines with a fuller textured mid-palate and a finish that goes on and on.

Choose from lunch at The Restaurant at Poplar Grove Winery on the Naramata Bench or Zias Stonehouse Restaurant in Summerland.

Zias Stonehouse opened its doors in 1998. The restaurant has become a popular dining room for residents and visitors throughout the Okanagan Valley. Zias is soaked with an atmosphere which suits both casual and elegant dining. The décor includes old family portraits and a beautiful stone fireplace.

Nestled on the slopes of Munson Mountain, The Restaurant at Poplar Grove offers beautiful views of Okanagan Lake while offering exceptional wines and carefully crafted food. Their hospitality team is keen to provide guests with friendly and engaging service.

Founded in 1993, Poplar Grove Winery is one of the original five wineries on the Naramata Bench. Tony and Barb Holler purchased the winery in 2007. Today, their sons, Chris, Andrew, Matthew, and Eric, carefully farm over 140 acres of estate vineyards.

The family is widely recognized for crafting their outstanding signature red blend, The Legacy, as well as delicious Cabernet Franc and Merlot-focused wines and an exceptional Pinot Gris. Polar Grove shares a commitment to distinctive, genuine wines that reflect the character and richness of the Okanagan Valley.

Located in the middle of the Naramata Bench, Bench 1775 Winery offers magnificent views, stunning vineyards, and some of BC's best wines. Enjoy a guided wine tasting in their waterfront tasting room and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Okanagan.

Little Engine Wines' vision is to produce a collection of wines that appeal to astute wine enthusiasts and the most seasoned professionals. Varietals are based on terroir with the ability to influence with barrels. Three properties planted in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot mark estate production, while Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc make up the portfolio's balance. A winery dedicated to the pursuit of excellence.

Their philosophy begins in the vineyard: precise pruning, canopy management, and cluster thinning. Little Engine Wines utilize very low crop tonnage producing fruit with intense concentration. Hand-selected fruit combined with minimally-invasive wine-making techniques allows for the wine’s pure expression. A combination of natural yeasts, gentle maceration, French oak barrels and attention to every detail results in wines of depth, character, elegance and finish.
